Definition of Peace: Peace is not just about preventing and stopping wars in foreign countries, but
it's also about how local citizens are treated by their local governments. Peace also includes protecting our Oceans,
Forests, and land resources.
Is it peaceful that governments have destroyed the lives and stolen the lands
of it's First Nations/Aboriginal Peoples ? Is it
peaceful for governments to invade and bomb entire countries because of a small group of rebels ? Why not just prosecute the
small group of rebels ? Is it peaceful to make citizens into criminals because they choose to consume one substance instead of another
? (if they choose to consume marijuana instead of alcohol ? ) Is
it peaceful to force citizens or employees into submitting urine or DNA samples ? Is
it peaceful to deport an refugee who is fleeing his homeland because of violence, oppression or poverty ? Is it peaceful for government leaders to boycott peace
talks or to boycott conferences on racism ? ( No group has ever solved anything by not talking ! ) Is it peaceful to discriminate against people who are different than you ? Is
it peaceful to jail opposition leaders and protesters ? Is it peaceful
to deny health insurance to people with existing health conditions ?

"An eye for an eye will make
the whole world go blind" - Mahatma Gandhi
The majority of the
world’s political leaders are irresponsible criminals. They tell ordinary people to never use violence to solve
problems - But what do these political leaders do ? - They invade and bomb countries and murder thousands of
people; they buy and sell weapons of mass destruction; they spy and assassinate people with their secret organizations; they
wage war on their own citizens who are involved in substances other than alcohol; they arrest and sometimes murder their own
citizens who are peacefully protesting; they steal land from our Native-Aboriginal people; they pollute the ocean and the
earth with their weapons of war; they pollute outer space with their space junk which ends up falling back to earth and polluting
the ocean; they bury toxic nuclear waste underground which will poison future generations of people, and they allow the exploitation
of the world’s resources at the expense of the environment and at the expense of the native people. If an ordinary citizen
did all these things, he would most certainly be in jail for the rest of his life. We as citizens have an enormous task of ridding the
world of these non-peaceful leaders. Please try your best to vote for only the most peaceful leaders. In many democratic countries, the political party with the most peaceful
solutions is the Green Party. Please consider to vote for them if they are available in your country. If you live in Canada,
the Greens and the NDP have more peaceful solutions than the Liberals or the Conservatives.
